After a lapse of seven years in the successful INDABA series of conferences, we are excited to invite you to INDABA 10, to be held from 11 – 16 October 2026 at the Nombolo Mdluli Conference Centre in Skukuza, Kruger National Park, South Africa.

Water and nutrition, health, energy and the climate are among the most relevant global issues, and scientists must address them. Indaba 10 will assemble scientists from around the world, from chemistry, physics, life and materials sciences, crystallographers, mathematicians, theoreticians and spectroscopists, biologists, geologists and other scientists interested in critically discussing their research. The essence of the theme above involves (over)simplification vs going too wide with investigations. Obviously, going completely ‘holistic’ in investigations is hardly possible, too time intensive, costly, etc. Moreover, in many/most cases there are some unknown factors which are not identifiable at certain points of an investigation.
Scientific sessions will include invited keynote lectures, contributed oral presentations and poster presentations. The venue of the Kruger National Park is world famous and ideal for animal viewing and spending free time with friends and colleagues in the early mornings, afternoons and late evenings in spectacular surroundings, to relish nature, discuss scientific problems and important challenges of society and possible future directions
Participation is unrestricted except for a limitation on the numbers due to the nature of the venue that can accommodate around 80-100 delegates. Preference will be given to presenters of original research and to students and postdoctoral associates.
